The Kiranti binomes may well be hybrids of Nepali kun ‘blood’ and #2080 PTB *r/s/g-wa WATER / RAIN (p.c. Boyd Michailovsky).
The Milang kuŋ-nu ‘pus’ might be related to these forms.
