This root is reconstructed on the basis of the WT and Jingpho forms in STC p. 118, note 327, and this is repeated in HPTB p. 284. The forms with a vocalism are here included in this set for the first time. Some of the supporting forms, especially those from Tamangic and rGyalrongic, look like loans from Tibetan.
