The final *-n is reconstructed on the basis of Chinese. There is probably a relationship between this root and #5739 PTB *wa-n THAT / DISTAL DEMONSTRATIVE, which has more abstract, grammatical meaning.
The velar prefix is attested both in Qiangic (including Tangut).
