The first element in the PKC binome *tsiŋ-laa KIN / RELATIVE is a reflex of this etymon.
According to the etymology provided in STC p. 158, note 428, the Chinese form is rather to be attributed to the root #2727 PTB *tsa-n CHILD / GRANDCHILD / NEPHEW / NIECE with the collectivizing suffix -n.
