Chinese comparandum

OC *śi̯ĕn, GSR #386a-c; Mand. shēn.

Unclear whether Chinese is to be considered a comparandum for both the current etymon #318 PTB *sin BODY / OWNER / AGENTIVE NOMINALIZER and #34 PTB *sya-n FLESH / MEAT / GAME ANIMAL. If so, this would support the allofamic relationship between the two etyma argued for in #5711 PTB *sya-n ⪤ *sin FLESH / ANIMAL / BODY / AGENTIVE NOMINALIZER.
