This etymon seems valid, but has a restricted distribution, having been so far discovered only in Nungic and a single Naga language.

HPTB unwisely considered the present root (there reconstructed as *ʔur) as being allofamic with #713 PTB *kwar HAND / WING (there reconstructed as *kur). It now seems much more preferable to keep the two roots separate.
