Notes
Written Burmese sok-kra ‘Venus; morning star’ is a loan from Sanskrit śukra ‘Venus’, śukravāra ‘Friday’, contra LTSR #125 and DL:1219, so is therefore not to be assigned to the stopped final allofam of this root. The most convincing evidence for the latter is the Lahu form below.
An interesting semantic extension of this root is “sober up after drunkenness” (cf. the Trung forms).
