The final -r in this root is so far only attested in Nungic and Tangkhulic. The reconstruction of the rhyme needs further evaluation. In particular, some of the forms with open syllables might be better assigned to #163.

Note the striking similarity of the Dulong form to Karlgren’s OC reconstruction bʼi̯wər.
